I recently installed the trial of the .net express version. I'm using Visual Studio 2008. Everything is going well except that when I drop a connection control on a windows form I immediately receive a null object reference error popup message. There is no coding involved, just dragging the control from the toolbox to the form generates the error. I must click OK several times to get the message to go away, but it occurs again if I try to save the form. Also, the control is completely non-functional. I have no problems with the other controls.

Has anyone experienced this?

Thanks,

John

Hi John

Sorry for the slow reply and thank you for your purchase. I've tried to replicate your error, but haven't been able to do so. When you said "connection control" did you mean ExFTPConnection? Also, were you able to get a stack-trace from the the error popup?
