We have been very happy with using CompleteFTP for our sftp host and have many clients sending us files each day.  A new client is attempting to send a large file (750G) and is only able to upload at a transfer rate of 1.5MB/s.

I looked at the setting in CompleteFTP and am not seeing any specific settings for bandwidth limitations.  There is a setting at the user level under Quotas and Limits that is set to Unlimited.

We verified that our firewall has no restrictions on it.

What else should we be looking at?

What speeds are other clients able to transfer at?  Do you know what client they are using?  Some clients transfer much faster than others (e.g. WinSCP is much slower than Filezilla).

Good questions.  We have not researched other client's speeds.  To date there have been no adverse comments.  We will try to see if we can get that information.

I believe that the client in question is using Filezilla, again I will verify that.

We just upgraded our service to 100/20 and it is testing out to be 80/15 (speedtest.net).  I know that there are a lot of variables, but in general what upload speeds should we expect to be seeing with a client using FIllezilla?
