I've been evaluating FTP Servers. I wrote this .NET Framework client test application to load up the different servers to see how they perform. Thought others might like it as well.

Just select a Send and/or Receive file and let'r rip.

Thanks for the input from folks. I updated so that under very heavy load of lots of threads, the display message queue is not overloaded (and won't slow everything down).

Again, thanks for the great suggestions from folks.

Good news for the edtftpnet dll!

I ran 10 concurrent threads, each transfering files for two hours. The result was over 33,000 transfers of a 5K file. No errors were reported.

The FTP Server was MS IIS FTP. Just thought folks would like to know the client DLL seems pretty stable (as does IIS FTP).

Thanks for the test app. It works great against my Black Moon FTP server.
