A question about edtftpj1.4.5 backward compatibility.

Can a program written for edtftpj1.2.3 be able to run on edtftpj1.4.5?
I have compiled successfully and have read the history page.
Seems to be nothing wrong so far. Still I would like to hear the developers' comments. Thank you very much for your great coding effort. :D

We try to maintain backward compatibility as much as possible, but we don't guarantee it.

Generally, if we wish to get rid of methods we deprecate them rather than removing them.
