Hello,
I 'm very happy with your ftp component :-)
But why don't you permit chmod , or the creation of directory (mkdir) with the same rights as the parent directory ?
Regards.
Kevin.

Hi Kevin
'chmod' is not part of the FTP standard (see
http://www.freesoft.org/CIE/RFC/959/23.htm
) so it would not be supported by many (any?) servers. Which server are you using?

You can use quote() to send any command to an FTP server so this is a possible option for you.

it works fine with quote().
I'm going to make the promotion of edtftpnet.
The control is great and the support efficient.
