FTP Command hangs

Question

We are using the edt FTPnet/PRO client and recently started running into an issue. Occasionally
when doing a ChangeWorkingDirectory (other commands too) command it hangs and throws an exception
after the timeout that was set when the connection was created. The exception text is
"An I/O exception occurred" and the error number is -21233665. It seems to happen when the level of
FTP traffic is higher. What does this error indicate?

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!
