We occasionally get emails that say something like:
"I have installed and registered our CompleteFTP server. Upon startup, I receive the message "Mismatch in machine identifier, CompleteFTP is running in restricted mode.""
Almost always, this is because the URL to activate (containing the machine id) has been manually copied from the CompleteFTP manager, and a mistake has been made (usually between I and l, and 0 and O). Please, don't manually copy the URL if at all possible - it is very easy to make a mistake.
