I have a v6.3 SFTP only server that I just inherited from a previous employee. We use it strictly for SFTP. It sits behind a firewall so I have a NAT that points from the external address to the internal address. Port 22 is open and all DNS entries are in place. The server is listening on port 22. The server times out when all users try to access it via the URL. This configuration was working fine up until earlier this week and I can find no evidence of changes that would make it stop. All user accounts and directories still exist as before and the server seems to be operating as expected. I need help troubleshooting this as my vendors need to access their systems.

I actually figured it out quite by accident. Apparently there have been too many people here tweaking the console and had done a few things which basically disabled SFTP. I went through each setting, regenerated and distributed the public keys to those who needed them, and then restarted the service. Now it works just fine. I was told by someone who really didn
