Good day,

One of our clients is using a release of our product that was built using an older version of edtFTPnetPro.dll (7.4.0.20). They've deployed it on a Server 2008 machine, with IIS7, and are experiencing some difficulties.

Should this DLL work on .NET Framework 4?

Thanks

Yes, it should be fine. Tell us more.

Ok, they're saying that it only works if they set the application pool to enable 32 bit applications.

Is version 8.0 of the DLL 64-bit compatible?

Yes, it's compiled as anycpu. What problems are they having?

Well they're still using the older version, and it throws an exception unless they're using 32-bit mode

What exception?

We've just discovered that they're in fact using an even older version, 6.x, of the DLL

6.0 and 6.1 weren't compiled as anycpu
