Slow ASCII transfer

Hi,

The transfer rate in ASCII mode is significantly slower for me when compared to Binary mode. I checked my FTP server with the Windows FTP Client, and found that with the Windows client the rate of transfer is fast (the same) for ASCII and Binary.
Anyone else experiencing this problem? Any ideas?

We will be spending some time in the next few weeks working to increase performance, particularly speeding up ASCII transfers

edtFTPnet 1.1.2 is now out, and ASCII transfers are now much faster.
