FTPException with ReplyCode -1

Question

My FTP client using edtFTPnet got the following exception only when the connection is bad:
(Usually I only get ReplyCode 425 when connection gets occasionally lost.)

[22:18:55.192] FTPException: The FTP client has not yet connected to the server. The requested action cannot be performed until after a connection has been established.
[22:18:55.317] FTP ReplyCode: -1

What does this mean? Do I need to do something special to handle this?

It means you lost the connection. Post the relevant parts of the log file for more details.
