All configuration data will be retained during the upgrade, but it is of course always a good idea to keep backups (see here). You can also test the upgrade on a different machine as explained here.
Instructions:
- Download the latest version of CompleteFTP from our customer site, using the link and login details you received after you purchased your license. If you don't have access to this then please contact support.
- Exit the CompleteFTP manager if it is running (no need to stop the CompleteFTP service).
- Install the new version.
Please note that the trial distribution cannot be used to upgrade a licensed installation.
If for some reason the upgrade fails, you can easily roll back to the previous installation.
