Control channel unexpectedly closed ('' read so far)

Question

Our ftps servers certification expired, we renewed the certificate and now we are unable to connect to the ftps server since. We are able to connect through a separate FTP software, like Filezilla, but cannot using edtFTPnet, which we have been using for awhile with no issues.
We have been using connect mode "PASSIVE" and file transfer protocol "FTPSImplicit".
Also, here is the Error Message:
Control channel unexpectedly closed ('' read so far)

Hi Shawn

The error "Control channel unexpectedly closed" means that the server has disconnected the client. Have a look at your server logs to see if there's a reason given for the disconnection. Also, please enabled logging in edtFTPnet/PRO and e-mail the log to us at support@enterprisedt... If you are able to, it could also be useful for us to have a look at the server log for the same session.
