Custom SSHFTPValidator not invoked if proxy is in used

Question

Doing SSH-connection, we encounter the problem, that the Custom-SSHFTPValidator (validate-method) will not be invoked.

We create our custom validator, set this to be used and using HTTP-Proxy. The connection does not validate the ssh server key. Even we have a bad server key, the connection can be establised.

If no proxy is in used, then the custom-validator will get executed. Can you please verify this behaviour?

FYI we've tried using a custom validator with an HTTP proxy and it seems to work fine. So we'll need to see your code to figure out what the problem is.
