After we build and publish our code, we keep getting an error when we try to install our program. In fact, we can only get our program to successfully install if we have the development environment (in our case C# Express) installed on the machine we are trying to put the program on. If we don't have c# Express installed then the program install fails and we get the following error, which references edt:

Error Signature:

EventType: clr20r3 P1: virtual ftp client.exe P2: 1.0.0.0
P3: 48889e9fa P4: edtftpnetpro P5: 5.0.5.0 P6: 480c52a2
P7: 1310 P8: 59 P9: system.io.filenotfoundexception

Do you know what is happening and, if so, do you have any suggestions?

Thanks

Have you added the edtFTPnetPRO.DLL to your installation package? That should be all that you need to do.

Perhaps you can e-mail the installer to us or tell us where we can download it from, so that we can have a look at it ourselves.

Hans-

The dll is referenced in our project and we don't have any errors. When we publish it, three items are created: a folder called "Application Files," setup.exe, and "Virtual FTP Client.application." In the Application Files folder, there is a deploy file called edtFTPnetPRO.dll.deploy. That leads me to believe that it has been successfully added to the installation package. We are willing to send you the installer, assuming that these three things constitute the installer. If I am misunderstanding what you mean by installer, let me know.

Thanks,
