Uploadfile error -> "Connection reset by peer"

Question

Has anyone experience "java.net.SocketException: Connection reset by peer: socket write error" using edtFTPj.

This error occurs randomly, but at least 99% of the time the uploads succeed. I FTP multiple files to a linux vsftp server, but the above error plages me. Any suggestions ?

Hard to say. A firewall could be interfering, or simply a flakey server or network. This particular error is tricky to diagnose.

It might be best to catch the exception and either retry the transfer or disconnect, reconnect & retry.
