ConnectionSuccessful but hangs at PUT

Question

Hi,

we are experiencing a strange problem. while transferring file to a Secure FTP server(Global Scape FTPServer). using edtFTPPRO.dll
the connection is successful on the control port
but the application is not able to transfer files
it starts transfer using STOR and hangs at
BYTES Transferred 8192

then it times out

data port range at the server is open, were are able to transfer to the same FTP Server from other machines with same configuration


donot know if there are any windows setting required to change.

any help is appreciated.

This sort of problem is usually caused by a firewall blocking FTPS connections. Does it work with standard FTP from the same machine? Does it work with FTPS on the same machine using an FTP client application such as FileZilla?

Could you please enable logging, set the level to ALL and post the appropriate part of the log?
