Problem with FTP to VMS

Hi, I've seen a couple posts on this site stating that folks have successfully used edtFTPnet to FTP to and from openVMS, but I've been running into a problem where files are transferring to the OpenVMS system without group execute permissions which basically makes the files useless with regard to the reason we are trying to get them there.

Could someone who has overcome this problem please post some example code for how they successfully accomplished the FTP?

If you FTP using a command line client, what do you do to set the permissions correctly? Can you post a debug listing from say Windows ftp.exe? (type 'debug' on the command line)
