Archiving file in SFTP server side

Question

I would like to know, How to Archive/move existing files in the folder before upload/download files after connected to SFTP server.

Please try renaming the files. You might be able to use the full path of the file to get it moved to another directory. However this will depend on the server.

My requirement is to move existing files to other folder after connected to SFTP server and access the directory for multipleput/get.
