Set Up To Server Listens To External IP

Question

I need to set up the server to listen to my external IP Address. I know my ports are open after changing my router settings and running a netstat test. My end goal is to forward  that external IP to a Domain Name. Judging by the lack of a similar question in the forms, I guessing this is obvious but I can't find the answer I need.

I assume this is for CompleteFTP? The server can only listen on its local interfaces. You need your router/firewall to forward requests made to your external address to the internal address your server is listening on.
